What Needed Solving?
Creating narrated documentary or storytelling videos involves a complex multi-stage pipeline: researching a topic, structuring a cohesive script, generating voiceovers, creating matching visuals for each scene, and rendering the final timeline with transitions and audio mixing.
How We Built It
We developed RetroForge with an ASP.NET Core MVC administration panel and PostgreSQL backend driving an automated worker pipeline. The system researches topics, generates structured narratives, synthesizes voiceovers and scene visuals using cost-effective local execution, and automatically assembles complete videos via FFmpeg.
